May 2nd is Voting Day

Vote!Today is Voting Day in Canada. If you’re a Canadian citizen, and you’re 18 or over, you’re most likely eligible to vote. You can register to vote at the polling station if you’re not already registered.

Bring your voting card with you if you have it along with some government issued picture ID and proof of your address. The address can be the one found on the picture ID itself, or the name and address found on a major utility bill.

Consult the Elections Canada Web site for more information, including the location of your polling station.

Now get out there and vote!

(also, today is the deadline for filing your tax returns)
